Four steps to doing everything better

If you want to get out of pain without relying on someone (a bodyworker) or something (a pain killer) else, you have to learn how to listen to what your body is telling you before (and after) the emergency call of "OUCH!"

Sensations are constantly telling all of us when to move and when to rest, when to push ourselves and when to get more support, as well as how to align ourselves so that strain and injury are avoided.
The tricky part is that these body messages happen in the present moment, and most of us spend most of our time analyzing the past and planning/hoping/fearing for the future.

Want to learn how to interpret these body messages?  Start by paying attention.  The more kinds of sensations you can notice in your body and the more areas in your body you can feel, the clearer these messages will become.  Then it's simple:
1. Pay attention to sensation
2. Try something new
3. Notice how the sensation changes
4. Choose the one you like

Having trouble paying attention to your body for those four steps?  Try listening to this free 27 minute audio download from Committed Impulse to hear about four steps to being present.  When you practice these four steps and become more aware of the opportunities of the present moment, you start to do everything better.
